Rav Daniel Kalish, Menahel of Mesivta Waterbury, arrived at Ben Gurion Airport to a massive group of his cherished Talmidim greeting their beloved Rebbi!
R’ Kalish is currently traveling around the country visiting and offering words of chizuk to his alumni. A group of current Waterbury Yeshiva Talmidim accompanied R’ Kalish on the trip to scout out Yeshivos for the upcoming year.
See below footage of the visit to Yeshiva Toras Chaim. A group of over 260 Talmidim and Bachurim enjoyed the warm words and song of R’ Kalish.
Hopefully at least 35-45 % of these young men will do their duty as Jews to serve in the IDF to protect Israel????
They should all go Be Derech Hashem serving Hashem with Positive Energy!!!
Most of these boys are American. I doubt they’ll serve in IDF .. if they do there is a great American / Israeli program for yeshiva students. My son went and was successful and happy he helped his country.
Boys from all over the world (frum) do the army stint- no excuses – so American boys should be lax, soft and hope all others defend and G-forbid fall to keep our only Jewish state safe???? Bench warmers did not keep Europe’s Jews safe. It’s 2023 – worse times again for Jews everywhere- who should serve? Non-Jews?
Let’s toughen up, and be both: involved, learned Jews and boys with backbones –
Welcome rabbi kalish to Israel. May he enjoy his stay.
