Alyza D. Lewin is a lawyer specializing in litigation and government relations. She currently practices law together with her father, Nathan Lewin, at Lewin & Lewin, LLP in Washington, DC. Her work involves criminal defense and civil litigation matters.
Together with her father, Ms. Lewin has argued several times before the U.S. Supreme Court and has won landmark cases defending First Amendment rights and civil liberties.
Ms. Lewin graduated from Princeton University and New York University School of Law. She is the former President of the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (“AAJLJ”). She’s currently president of The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law.
