BDE: Two Frum Jews Identified in Tragic Plane Crash

Baruch Taub z” l and Benyamin Chafetz z” l, members of Cleveland’s Jewish community, have been identified as the two Jews tragically killed in the single-engine plane crash near Westchester, NY, Thursday evening.

They had been flying to N.Y. today to attend a Levaya when the plane got lost in heavy rain and fog R” L. The Niftarim were known to be tremendous Baalei Chessed and had a significant impact on the Cleveland community.

Boruch Taub, the owner of MasterWorks Automotive & Transmission, was the pilot of the Beechcraft Bonanza a36, a single-engine propeller plane. He is an experienced pilot and flies the plane often. According to Dans Deals, Ben Chafetz, a tech entrepreneur, was his only passenger on the flight.
