Israeli forces arrested a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group in Judea and Samaria.
Khader Adnan, 44, has long been accused of being a spokesperson for the terror group. As a result, he has been arrested several times over recent years and served several prison sentences in connection with his work with the PIJ.
He is one of the longest-ever Palestinian hunger strikers when held in Israeli jails under Israeli orders of Administrative Detention. His family said that he declared an open hunger strike when he was arrested.
Adnan was arrested alongside at least five other terrorists that the IDF has been searching for in connection with terrorist activities.
