Bibi and Sara Netanyahu went pay a shiva call to the family who lost their two boys, HY”D, aged 6 and 8, during the terrorist attack in Ramot, Jerusalem, last week.

The mother of the family, Channah Devorah Paley, told the Prime Minister and his wife how her two young children were buried, one after the other, and said that the people of Israel support them and that faith is what sustains them. The Prime Minister and his wife said that faith helps one to overcome the disaster and added that the entire people of Israel embrace them in their sorrow.

When Channah Devorah showed a picture of the boys, Prime Minister Netanyahu told her: “I would like your permission to put the picture in my office. This tragic story will help me explain to world leaders the difference between the people of Israel and our enemies. While our enemies murdered these two souls, our forces saved lives in Turkey.”

Family members told the Prime Minister and his wife about the condition of the father of the family, who is still sedated and on a respirator in the hospital. The family members asked for prayers for Avraham Noah Chaim, ben Yehudit. The Prime Minister and his wife wished him a swift and complete recovery.

“My wife Sarah and I just left a condolence visit to the Palai family, who lost two pure sons, Yaakov, six years old, and Asher, eight years old, May Hashem avenge their blood.

We admired the greatness of the mother of the family, Devorah, and the brothers and sisters, the grandmother and grandfather, and the rest of the family.

The 16-year-old brother Tzviki spoke with great pain about the shocking murder of his younger brothers and the wounding of his father. He requested that the entire nation of Israel pray for the healing of his father – Avraham Noah ben Yehudit.

My wife and I ask you to join us in this prayer. Get well, Avraham. The Palai family, may you rest in heaven.”
