As seen from screenshots of the hospital parking lot, even surrounding cars are entirely intact, although burned out. Unless 500 people were sitting in the parking lot at the time of the failed launch, it is pretty hard to imagine that there were even 50 deaths.
Somehow the only famous picture of the horrific explosion is of the blackened parking lot.
