Additionally, an Israeli soldier died due to a lethal fungus he came in contact with in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Society for Infectious Disease is urgently discussing the source, considering potential links to Hamas terror tunnels. Additionally, 10 other soldiers have been diagnosed with infections related to the fungus during the recent Gaza conflict.

Lastly, four soldiers were seriously wounded in battle yesterday: two soldiers of the 7th Armored Brigade’s 82nd Battalion, as well as an officer in the 75th Battalion — all hurt in southern Gaza — and a reservist of the 646th Brigade’s 6646th Battalion hurt in the Strip’s north.
