IDF announced the tragic death of two more soldiers killed in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll of slain troops since the start of the ground offensive in Gaza to 170 R”L:
Master Sgt. (res.) Constantine Sushko HY”D, 30, of the Combat Engineering Corps’ 7086th Battalion, from Tel Aviv.
Cpt. Harel Ittah HY”D, 22, a team commander in the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, from Netanya.
Late last week, Major Dvir David Fima HY”D was killed in Gaza when he realized that a tunnel entrance shaft was booby-trapped. He jumped on the explosives to save the lives of three fellow soldiers. Dvir leaves behind a wife and baby son. This photo was taken just a few days ago.

Over Shabbos, the PIJ announced the deaths of two terrorists who were killed in an Israeli strike today in southern Lebanon, amid cross-border attacks by Hezbollah and allied terror groups.
Syrian media also reported significant Israeli airstrikes in the Aleppo area, over the weekend. The pro-government Sham FM radio says air defenses are engaging in the strike over Aleppo International Airport.
Syrian media confirmed that “material losses” were caused in the Israeli airstrike on Aleppo. It says the Israeli fighter jets launched their missiles from over the sea, west of Latakia.
Meanwhile, IDF troops continue operating throughout Gaza over Shabbos, below are the latest updates:
Shejaiya: Ground troops located and eliminated a terrorist cell.
Gaza City: Troops, in coordination with an aircraft, eliminated dozens of terrorists. Additionally, battles took place where further terrorists were eliminated.
Beit Lahia: Two Hamas military compounds were dismantled. Troops located numerous weapons, explosive devices, guns, military equipment and communication devices in the compounds prior to the strike.
The IDF says troops of the 7th Armored Brigade have advanced further in southern Gaza, while raiding Hamas sites in Khan Younis, including the headquarters of the terror group’s intelligence division in the city.

Additionally, 2 hostile observation operatives were identified in a compound. IDF tanks struck the compound eliminating the terrorists.
