Update: The two terrorists were from Chevron. The initial attack began when one of the terrorists stabbed a woman, while the other stole a car and proceeded to carry out ramming attacks in several locations. The terrorists swapped between multiple vehicles three times after crashing. Both terrorists were later arrested.
A 34-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy are in serious condition with head injuries. Six of the children injured are aged between 10 and 16 and are in mild condition.
The Shin Bet has identified the two Palestinians involved in today’s terror attack in Ra’anana. The suspects have been named as Ahmed Zidat, 25, and Mahmoud Zidad, 44, both residents of the southern West Bank town of Bani Naim, near Chevron.
According to the Shin Bet, both individuals were in Israel illegally and had previously been blacklisted for multiple illegal entries into Israel.

A terror attack unfolded in Ra’anana on Monday afternoon, resulting in the horrific murder of a woman in her 70s and the injury of 18 other individuals R”L. The terrorist, a man in his 40s from Chevron, engaged in a multi-scene rampage, stealing three cars and perpetrating stabbings and vehicular assaults on multiple streets. Among the victims were children and teenagers returning home from school.
At least three individuals, including a 16-year-old, are in critical condition, while others sustained injuries of varying severity. Schneider Children’s Hospital reported treating four youngsters in moderate condition, who were evacuated from the attack site. Additional evacuated children and teens at Beilinson Hospital are slated for transfer to Schneider.
The terrorist seized control of a woman’s car, stabbing her, and taking control of her vehicle. He then rammed into three pedestrians near a bus stop before crashing into a guardrail and abandoning the car. Subsequently, he commandeered another vehicle, continuing his rampage on a second street, where he struck more people. The terrorist repeated this pattern on a third street, ramming into additional individuals before fleeing the scene.
Israeli security forces continue to scan Ra’anana, Israel, for additional terror suspects following the deadly attack. According to reports two terrorists were arrested.
