The winter storm will bring light snowfall to the NYC area on Friday. Snow is expected to begin before sunrise and continue for most of the day before wrapping up around 8 pm. 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected in the city proper, with slightly more snow further south.
There will be a travel advisory in the morning due to slippery roads. Expect delays and give yourself extra travel time for the morning commute.
