Daniel Hagari, the IDF Spokesperson, delivered an English statement on Sunday, offering an update on the ongoing IDF operation targeting Hamas and Islamic Jihad within Gaza’s Shifa Hospital, now in its sixth day.
Hagari highlighted that thus far, 170 terrorists had been dealt with in or near the hospital grounds while engaging with Israeli forces. He further stated that the IDF had detained numerous individuals suspected of terrorism with confirmed affiliations to Hamas or Islamic Jihad, marking this operation as one of the most successful since the conflict’s inception.
“A significant portion of these terrorists were implicated in orchestrating and carrying out the heinous events of October 7,” Hagari remarked.
