Strong Winds Cause United Flight Diversion From Tel Aviv to Newark, Leading to Dozens of Passenger Illnesses

Last Friday, a United Airlines flight bound for Newark Airport from Tel Aviv had to be diverted to Stewart International Airport in New York due to severe winds and turbulence.

The airline stated that adverse weather conditions forced the flight’s redirection to New York.

Upon arrival, approximately 200 passengers were attended to by first responders from various agencies at the scene, as confirmed by Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus’s office.
