IDF Mourns Loss of Reservist in Gaza Fighting
The IDF announced the tragic death of Sgt. First Class (res.) Salm Alkreshat HY”D, 43, from the Bedouin community of Abu Rabia. Alkreshat, a tracker in the Gaza Division’s Northern Brigade, was killed during fighting against Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip. His death brings the toll of slain troops in the IDF’s ground offensive against Hamas to 261 R”L.

New Hamas Video Shows Signs of Life from Israeli-American Hostage
The Hamas terror group has released a new propaganda video showing signs of life from Israeli-American hostage 23-year-old Hersh Goldberg-Polin. In the video, Goldberg-Polin, missing one of his hands, identifies himself and asks the Israeli government to secure his release. Goldberg-Polin was abducted from the Supernova rave near Re’im on October 7. Hamas has previously issued similar videos of hostages it is holding, in what Israel says is deplorable psychological warfare.
Parents of Hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin Respond to New Video
Rachel and Jon Goldberg-Polin, parents of Israeli-American hostage Hersh, called on all parties involved in negotiations to secure their son’s release. They sent a message to Hersh, saying, “We love you. Stay strong. Survive.”

Israeli Air Force Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon
Israeli fighter jets carried out a massive simultaneous wave of some 40 strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The strikes are part of an effort to destroy the organization’s infrastructure in the border area.

Israeli and Egyptian Officials Meet to Discuss IDF Operation in Rafah
Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar and IDF Chief of Staff General Harzi Halevi met in Cairo with Egypt’s intelligence chief and other key officials to discuss the looming Israel Defense Forces operation in Rafah.
The IDF is fully prepared to begin a ground assault on Rafah, Gaza’s southernmost city, and can launch an operation the instant it receives government approval.
Day 201: Hamas Fires Rocket Barrage at Sderot
