Hostage Updates
Israel officials gave Hamas one week to respond to the latest hostage proposal.
The delegation informed Egypt’s intelligence officials that if Hamas doesn’t respond within the allotted timeframe, the IDF will initiate the long-anticipated IDF operation in Rafah.
Since the proposal this past Monday, this leaves 72 hours for Hamas to respond.
Israeli media sources claim that Hamas will announce within the next day their approval of the Israeli hostage deal which will include a 6-week ceasefire and the release of hundreds of Arab terrorists from jail, in exchange for the release of 33 hostages being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
If agreed upon it would mark a Hamas decision to drop the original demand for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, in exchange for U.S. guarantees that the IDF will completely withdraw from the Gaza Strip when the war ends.
Commander Eliminated
Senior Islamic Jihad commander in the Rafah Brigade has been eliminated by an IDF air strike this afternoon.
The terrorist, Iman Zareb, “commanded and directed” several attacks and attempted infiltration into Israel in recent years and on Oct. 7th.
Israeli demonstrators blocked the entrance to Jerusalem this evening and demanded an immediate IDF land invasion of Rafah, Gaza, to save the remaining hostages and eliminate Hamas terrorists and leaders in the city.
