Beginning on Tuesday, May 7th, Nassau County will begin the resurfacing of Peninsula Blvd. This project, spanning five days, will conclude on May 13th, all subject to weather conditions and field conditions, which can cause delays. The work will be done at night from 9 PM to 5 AM.
The resurfacing will be conducted in stages as follows:
Stage 1: Peninsula Blvd from Rockaway Ave. to Mill Rd. – Scheduled for Tuesday Night, May 7th, and Wednesday Night, May 8th.
Stage 2: Peninsula Blvd from Mill Rd. to Woodmere Blvd. – Set for Thursday Night, May 9th, and Friday Night, May 10th.
Stage 3: Peninsula Blvd from Woodmere Blvd. to Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst – Scheduled for Monday Night, May 13th.
Expect delays during this period. It is advisable to allocate extra time for your travel plans and consider utilizing alternate routes.
