We are still a hotbed of COVID-19…there is no return to normalcy until the local numbers regarding infection and deaths go down. Misguided and rather shameful action by the Village Board at a time when so many are struggling financially.
How are you supposed to feed meters when you have no idea how long you’ll be on mine for just to get into some of the stores? This is shameful. I hope the Board quickly reconsiders and does the right thing.
This is shameful and an obvious “money grab” by the village. Since the stores that are actually open (such has Gourmet Glatt) are only allowing a specific number of people in the store at one time and you need to wait in line to get in, there’s no way of knowing how much time you will need in the meter which will cause expired meters and I’m sure the clowns who are in charge will send out the meter maids to give tickets. Brilliant move by our “leaders”; they should be ashamed of themselves!
I think everyone on this chat should call the village and voice their concern! Iam ashamed to say I live here. Where is the sensitivity of these people?
Just 1 of the several measures they are taking??? What are the other measures they are taking? I have an idea let’s raise taxes also during a pandemic when nobody is making money so get things back to normal. Disgraceful!!

Is this what you have learned from this pandemic not to be sensitive, not to care. I don’t think so. The world has learned the opposite. I think it’s in your best interest to say that this was a mistake. we want to encourage people to go out when it’s safe and the village will not ask you to feed the meters at this time
