| As previewed last week, we are very excited to introduce the NEW AND EXPANDED 5T Market! We have progressed from standardized boxes to customized orders with roughly 280 available items through our partnership with Kolsave (11 Lawrence Lane in Lawrence) will shop your order and bring your packages curbside. HELPING NEIGHBORS – new opportunities!
While the primary goal of 5T Market is “Saving Lives,” we are now excited to initiate the expansion of the “Helping Neighbors” portion of our organization in the following ways, given overwhelming enthusiasm for our price sharing concept.
· Sponsor / receive Modest Discounts: Users can choose to pay a bit more or less for orders, so we can we come together as a community at this time.
· Sponsor / receive Larger Discounts: Customers can receive a much larger discount, while others can sponsor their neighbors. (Given limited availability, we will review and prioritize requests with a short survey.)
· Sponsor / receive Free Staple Boxes: Free staple pantry items (chicken, pasta, eggs, tuna, oil, rice, etc.) will be available upon request to families who can use the assistance.
We are grateful to Achiezer, JCCRP, and Met Council, who are helping us launch the “Helping Neighbors” initiative. We look forward to continuing to work together to address the ongoing grocery-related challenges facing our community during this period.
