Memorial Day pays tribute to members of America’s armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice. While the emergency directives against gatherings make it impossible for us to observe Memorial Day with our traditional parade and program in Cedarhurst’s Andrew J. Parise Park, the Villages of Cedarhurst and Lawrence, together with the Lawrence- Cedarhurst American Legion Post #339, and Lawrence Cedarhurst Fire Department, will honor those fallen heroes through a virtual Memorial Day Ceremony.
The half-hour program will be presented virtually starting at 10:30 am on Monday, May 25. The ceremony will feature a combination of live and recorded content.

The Village of Lawrence will be observing Memorial Day on Monday, May 25th at 9:00AM by placing a wreath at Zion Veterans Memorial Park in conjunction with the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department, the Village of Cedarhurst,
The Lawrence Association and the American Legion Lawrence/Cedarhurst Post #339 Commander Syd Mandelbaum and Vice Commander Al Landi. All residents are invited to attend (noting social distance and masks) as we pay tribute to our fallen heroes.
