A boat flipped at Rockaway Beach, apparently with children on board. Multiple emergency units were on scene including 3 helicopters, 6 rescue boats, and more. We have just confirmed that everyone is okay, they all held onto floating devices in the water and were brought to safety on the Nassau County side.
Please be extra careful at the Beach and with water activities, as this is the 4th scary incident this summer.
