In response to the Village’s requests, we have been advised that PSEG has dispatched additional units and crews this evening to de-energize power lines/cut power and thus, allow the removal of downed trees by the Village’s DPW and Highway Department. This will facilitate the rapid restoration of power.
The Village of Lawrence will continue to pressure PSEG to resolve this crisis, including urging them to follow our recommendations and re-assess areas that are capable of being immediately re-energized.
