Trucks lined up at 6 AM this morning on seagirt, in front of Yeshivas Darchei Torah. The trucks are there to continue adding rocks to the beach shore. They are building Jetties to save the beach from erosion.
After a years-long battle against erosion at Rockaway Beach in Queens, the city was awarded millions of dollars to help solve the issue. Residents had been noticing for years the shoreline coming further up towards the street, this should certainly help solve the issue.
