Karine Jean-Pierre, an anti-Israel radical who praised Democrats for skipping the 2019 AIPAC Policy Conference, has been named principal deputy press secretary in the White House for the incoming Joe Biden administration, the Biden transition team announced Sunday.

Jean-Pierre was previously a senior adviser and chief-of-staff to Kamala Harris.

Jean-Pierre is known to be a vocal critic of Israel. She has worked as a senior adviser and national spokesperson for MoveOn.org, a far-Left anti-Israel group, she has accused Israel of committing “war crimes” and applauded Democrats for not attending the AIPAC annual conference. She praised the democrats for “boldly choosing to prioritize diplomacy and human rights over the power of a lobbying organization.”

Jean-Pierre wrote an article in Newsweek about why she thought the democratic candidates “made the right call” by not attending the AIPAC conference.

“Because when it comes down to it, AIPAC’s policies are not progressive policies. AIPAC’s values are not progressive values,” she wrote.

Jean-Pierre accused AIPAC of “severely racist, Islamophobic rhetoric,” and said the organization has become known for “trafficking in anti-Muslim and anti-Arab rhetoric while lifting up Islamophobic voices and attitudes.”

Last week, Reema Dodin was announced as a deputy director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs for the incoming Biden administration. She has referred to Palestinian suicide bombings as “the last resort of a desperate people” during the Second Intifada in 2002.
