Only 2 weeks ago, on a Motzei Shabbos, Nassau Police together with NYPD units dispersed a crowd getting ready to race in the Stop & Shop parking lot. See below.
Just this past week, 5TC reported a horrific accident that took place on Bedford Ave in Brooklyn. A Frum woman was ejected from an Uber, after a drag racer flew through a red light, racing at very high speeds. She was rushed to the hospital and was in critical condition at the time. Her name is Malka Bas Ruchel.

Drag Racing is illegal and extremely dangerous. There must be major repercussions for those who drag race and put other lives at risk (including their own lives). You may report drag racing in progress to 911 or call 311 for past incidents.
