The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of an Inwood woman for an incident that occurred on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 5:40 p.m. in Inwood.
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct Officers responded to a disturbance at 285 Bayview Avenue. Upon further investigation, it was determined that a female subject, Andrea Autry, 24, of 355 Bayview Avenue, assaulted the victim with a knife and then fled the scene. The victim suffered multiple lacerations and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. Police canvassed the area and were able to locate defendant Autry and place her under arrest without further incident.
The defendant is charged with Assault in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree. She will be arraigned on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
