Thanks to the dedication and tireless work of the RNSP, NCPD and NYPD, after a year of nightly burglaries that left many in Far Rockaway and the 5 towns traumatized, the burglary suspect was just caught and placed into custody.
RNSP units worked tirelessly to put an end to a spate of burglaries terrorizing the #5Towns & #FarRockaway. In #collaboration with @NYPD101Pct & @NassauCountyPD Detectives, the suspect was apprehended, resulting in #OneUnder. Now you can rest easy at night. #ItsWhatWeDo@NassauDA pic.twitter.com/qMKg3OTHi1

Last night, RNSP members finally met success in locking up a perpetrator that has committed literally dozens of burglaries in the Rockaways and Nassau County. RNSP members put in countless hours of video work, stake-outs, talking to District Attorney’s and sharing evidence with detective squads in both NYC and Nassau County.
After following this suspect early on, it became clear that this was one perpetrator carrying out multiple crimes, burglaries that bled the community of thousands of dollars worth of cash, jewelry, and other items. These burglaries were particularly scary, as they happened past midnight, affecting occupied homes, while people and their children were asleep. One incident took place this past Shabbos in Cedarhurst near Oakwood Ave. at about 4:30AM, where a teenager came downstairs to find this suspect sneaking around in their living room. Baruch Hashem, he fled the scene without anybody getting hurt.
This particular guy was little, athletic, elusive and very fast. He got away from Police on five different occasions, even with the aid of aviation and other special police units. He began to operate as if he were untouchable.
Last night, the man entered a Deli in Far Rockaway and was suddenly surrounded by dozens of NYPD who evacuated the store, detained the suspect and placed him under arrest.
Thanks to the excellent work by NYPD, Nassau County Police and RNSP, this guy is off the streets.
Great work! I know how hard you guys have been working on this–my 10 yr old son was literally jumping with joy this morning. Since this suspect broke into a home on our block, while the family was home and asleep, my son had a hard time sleeping. We are grateful to you. https://t.co/HH4Ss80V8L

Likely released without bail
Shoot to kill
Happy the culprit was arrested eventually, Kudos to the NYPD & RNSP, we need you always
Unfortunately this scum bag was probably released without bail the same day to continue burglarizing homes.
What’s being done to make sure he isn’t released any time soon to continue his work??
No picture of the s-bag? How lame
!!!
