First Squad Detectives are investigating a Serious Aided that occurred on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 4:28 pm in Roosevelt.
According to detectives, a male, 19, while working for a tree removal company, was struck by a falling limb. Workers were cutting elevated limbs and branches when one fell toward the ground and struck the male on top of his head. The crew was using ropes to help guide and control the speed as the limb came down. Responding officers found the male on the ground with no pulse and performed CPR. The aided ’s pulse was lost and regained multiple times.
The victim was transported by a NCPD Ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. He is listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
