Really? West Hempstead Man Arrested Once Again, His 39th Arrest

The Major Case Bureau reports the details of an arrest for Burglary that occurred on December 14, 2021, at 7:30 pm in N. Valley Stream.

According to Burglary Pattern Team Detectives, a male subject threw a rock through the front door of Kathy Nails located at 138 Cedarlawn Boulevard. The front glass broke but the subject was unable to gain entry and fled the scene in a previously stolen 2014 Jeep.

An ongoing investigation led to the arrest of Carl Esposito, 58, of 797 Iris Place, West Hempstead.

During the investigation it was determined that Esposito was responsible for the following incidents:

12/02/21 – Village Motors Used Cars, located at 760 W. Merrick Rd., Valley Stream – Grand Larceny 4th Degree (Auto over $100)

12/07/21 – Top Nail & Spa, located at 1061 Broadway, Woodmere – Burglary 3rd Degree

12/10/21 – Captiva Hair Designers, located at 1747 Peninsula Blvd., Hewlett – Burglary 3rd Degree

12/14/21 – China Wok, located at 1052 Franklin Ave., N. Valley Stream – Burglary 3rd Degree (Attempt)

12/14/21 – Comfort Hair Salon, located at 256 Rockaway Pkwy., Valley Stream – Burglary 3rd Degree

Defendant Esposito is charged with three (3) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree (Attempt) and Grand Larceny 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday February 24, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.

Esposito was previously arrested 38 times with 36 convictions. Esposito was last arrested on February 5, 2022 for Burglary, released without bail and was fitted with an ankle bracelet by Nassau County Probation.
