The murderous Palestinian terrorist who carried out Thursday night’s deadly terror attack in Tel Aviv was tracked down and killed.

Update: More than five hours after the attack and the shooter is still on the loose.

The center of Tel Aviv is under lockdown as police and special military units patrol the streets and go building by building in attempt to locate the shooter.

Update: More than one thousand police officers and elite IDF soldiers are scanning central Tel Aviv in search of the terrorist who carried out tonight’s deadly shooting attack.

Update: It’s two hours after the initial shooting attack in Tel Aviv and a gunman is still on the loose.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is meeting in Tel Aviv with senior security officials, including Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Public Security Minister Omer Barlev, IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi, Shin Bet director Ronen Bar, Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata, and Military Secretary Avi Gil.

According to a statement released by the prime minister’s office, Bennett has been presented with details of the attack and the efforts to locate the perpetrator, who is still on the loose.

Police officials say they do not know the identity of the shooter in Tel Aviv.

Update: Magen Dovid Adom has informed that 2 men in their 30s have passed away R”L; 3 seriously hurt: 38 year old man, 28 year old woman, 20 year old man; 4 lightly hurt. Several others treated for anxiety.

Police are telling residents to lock their doors and stay away from windows as manhunt continues.

TRAGIC UPDATE: Officials at Ichilov Medical Center say two of the wounded in the Tel Aviv attack have died R”L. The hospital is treating eight other wounded: Four are being operated on and are in serious condition, two more people are in moderate-to-serious condition, and two more are mildly hurt.

Update: United Hatzalah volunteers are en route to an additional location of a reported shooting at the Tel Aviv Port.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Akiva Kauffman, who was one of the first responders at the scene at Dizengoff Street reported, “There were a number of very serious scenes in which attacks took place.

I treated and transported one person who was in serious condition in one of United Hatzalah’s ambulances to the hospital. Additional injured people were transported in other ambulances both from United Hatzalah and other ambulance companies.

Additionally, the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit responded to the incident and treated numerous people who suffered emotional shock and trauma due to having witnessed the shootings.”

United Hatzalah volunteer EMS personnel as well as members of the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit (PCRU) were dispatched to Dizengoff Street moments ago as a shooting incident took place in multiple locations.

EMTs and paramedics from the organization at the scene were treating patients for injuries of various degrees and the PCRU team treated numerous eye-witnesses who suffered emotional shock and trauma as a result of seeing the shooting.

Channel 13 news says six people have been hurt, and three of them are in serious condition.
