Major flames erupted in a mechanic shop neighboring Gan Yisroel School on Church Ave and 36th St at around 12:00 pm bringing tens of firefighters to the scene.
The smoke and flames quickly spread forcing the children to evacuate the school building immediately.
To the relief of the hysterical mothers who were calling, all the children got out safely and were provided water by Boro Park Shomrim.
Firefighters are currently working to combat the flames and smoke that are filling the Boro Park skies.
Chasdei Hashem no injuries have been reported at this time.
