There is a severe weather watch in effect around the Tri-State area for this afternoon and late evening. Lightning, strong winds and hail are likely to pass through the area.
Heavy downpours will move through the region at around 5:30 pm through 8:00 pm. Late in the evening the storm activity will subside.
Heat and humidity will be back tomorrow morning, with weather in the upper 80’s.
