United Hatzalah volunteers treated two people following a stabbing incident close to the Iron Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City. An Arab terrorist charged border police injuring two officers, soldiers shot at and neutralized the terrorist.
Shaare Tzedek Hospital says two soldiers wounded in the Old City stabbing attack have been evacuated to the trauma unit.
Bchasdei Hashem, Both officers are in fully conscious and stable condition. One soldier suffered a stab wound in the upper body, and the second a gunshot wound to the lower body, which may have come from accidental friendly fire.
United Hatzalah EMT Yechiel Shtern relayed: “I provided initial treatment to two people who sustained light injuries. They were transported to the hospital for further treatment.”
The terrorist killed in the attack has been identified as 20-year-old Bader Amer, from Beit Hanina.
