Ryan Turell Makes His G League Debut: Last night Turell played in his first game for the Motor City Cruise. Turell, the YU star, is attempting to become the first Orthodox Jewish basketball player in NBA history. Turell played the entire game with his Yarmulka on his head, a sight that is both historic and meaningful.
“This is a dream come true for me, but it is only the start. The goal is to make the NBA. I appreciate the love and support of Jews worldwide that are rooting for me, it feels like we’re in this together”, Ryan said.
