“Finding the Tzaddik Within”, was the unofficial tagline of the recent Aish Kodesh trip to Italy and Israel. Led by Rav Moshe Weinberger and Jeremy Feder, the large group traveled to Rome, Venice, Padua, Milan, and then to Eretz Yisroel, spending time in Yerushalayim, Tverya, Tzefas, and Meron.
The group spent time by many Kevarim, including the kevarim of Rebbe Akiva, R’ Meir Baal Haness, and the Arizal in Tzfas. An emotional visit to “Mama Rochel” in Beis Lechem was followed by a special shiur from Rav Tzvi Meir Zilberberg in his Beis Medrash in Ezras Torah.
Over 100 people spent a beautiful Shabbos together in Kibbutz Lavi, with a special guest Rav Reuven Sasson joining with his family and igniting the group with his sweetness as he delivered the Shabbos Drasha and Friday night Oneg, overlooking the gorgeous hills of Teverya.
The Shabbos Seuda was highlighted by Rav Yitzchok Zilberman, as he shared his powerful, personal journey through Yidddishkeit.
Rav Weinberger shared words of Chizuk and Divrei Torah all throughout the trip. R’ Joey Yosef Newcomb joined as well inspiring the group with his sweet voice and energy.
