A visibly Hasidic Jewish man crossing the street to Shul was the victim of a hit-and-run on Friday night, in Crown Heights, NY.
The disturbing incident took place at the intersection of Albany Ave and Union Street around 6:00 pm this past Friday.
The middle aged male was taken by Hatzalah, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Security footage shows a white sedan that appears to stop at the traffic light but then proceeds to drive ahead without warning, mowing down the Jewish man intentionally.
The driver’s criminal conduct is potentially another Antisemitic hate crime, NYPD has launched an investigation regarding the incident.
“This is horrific. I’m praying that this man makes a full recovery, and if you have any information about who committed this abhorrent act, contact NYPD immediately” said NYS Attorney General Letitia James.
