Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance after discovering hate-filled messages in mailboxes across Plainview. These flyers, linked to the antisemitic hate group known as the Goyim Defense League, have prompted a swift response from local officials. Nassau Legislator Arnie Drucker emphasized the need to identify the perpetrators, stressing that this alarming trend of hate is not isolated but rather an escalating undercurrent that must be halted.

This incident echoes a similar occurrence last summer when comparable flyers were found in Freeport. In light of these distressing events, law enforcement is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the police. New York State Attorney General Letitia James expressed her firm stance against hate in all its forms. He called for immediate action, encouraging individuals with knowledge about these antisemitic flyers to reach out to the Nassau County Police Department and her office promptly.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman expressed his commitment to combating hate, stating that the Nassau County Police Department is actively investigating the source of the hateful flyers distributed near a Plainview synagogue. Nassau County has no place for such bigotry and intolerance, and efforts to ensure a safe and inclusive community will continue.
