Upon receiving a 911 call regarding a working house fire at a residence on Lyncrest Street, police officers were dispatched to the scene.
Fortunately, the occupants of the house had already evacuated, ensuring their safety. There were no reported injuries related to the incident. The Valley Stream Fire Department promptly arrived at the location and effectively extinguished the fire. However, the extent of the damage rendered the house uninhabitable.
