This week, the Far Rockaway community was honored to host a significant event, the Far Rockaway Multifaith Event, organized on behalf of Mayor Eric Adams. This gathering provided a unique opportunity for community members to come together and engage in meaningful conversations with esteemed leaders, including Mayor Adams, the Borough President, city agency commissioners, and other influential figures.

Set against the backdrop of the White Shul, the event was held on Wednesday, June 14th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendees were welcomed to immerse themselves in discussions about critical issues that directly impact their communities, fostering an open dialogue and understanding atmosphere.

One notable aspect of the event was its focus on bringing together individuals representing various faiths and religious organizations. Designed specifically for clergy, rabbis, religious school administrators, and representatives from faith-based organizations, the gathering aimed to address matters of great significance to the religious communities present. By providing a platform exclusively for these individuals, the event fostered a targeted and focused discussion, ensuring that the concerns and perspectives of religious communities were acknowledged and addressed.

Mayor Adams and other distinguished leaders eagerly participated in the event, engaging with attendees in productive conversations and seeking insights to better serve the community. The presence of city agency commissioners further emphasized the commitment of the local government to listen and respond to the needs of the Far Rockaway community.

Additionally, attendees were able to enjoy kosher food, generously sponsored by the Achiezer Community Resource Center, enhancing the sense of unity and shared experience during the event.

  1. Ha Ha. Lets be honest the dialogue doesn’t get anywhere. All of them still vote democrat and their concern for crime is their own fault. If anyone was honest they should ask why wasn’t the black man shooter at siach yitchok charged with a felony by having a gun by a school. They need to fill the empty apt buildings with illegals and fast.

  2. Black- Jewish relations fine at this level; on the streets, in public with no police presence or criminal accountability, it is not.

  3. remember the DA KATZ they love why didn’t she add the charge NY Penal Law § 265.01-a: Criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds on the gangter outside siach. i think donations need to be stopped whomever promotes such ppl
