In a distressing incident today, a ramming and stabbing attack in North Tel Aviv has resulted in eight individuals being wounded R”L, with one person in severe condition, three in moderate to severe condition, two in moderate condition, and one in light to moderate condition. Additionally, one person is reported to be suffering from anxiety. The attack was carried out by 23-year-old terrorist Hussein Halayla, a terminally ill resident of Samoa near Hebron, who had abused his special license for medical treatment in Israel.

The assailant, exploiting his medical permit, attacked innocent Israelis in Tel Aviv. Approximately ten people were injured, some critically, adding to the distressing toll of terrorism. The Palestinian Terrorist was thankfully shot and killed after attempting to stab other civilians.

Emergency medical services swiftly responded to the scene and began treating the victims. United Hatzalah deployed its dedicated teams to provide immediate medical attention. Volunteer emergency medical technicians (EMTs) Yossi Ackler and Dvir Adani, who were present at the scene, described the incident as the car crashing into a bus stop, with gunshots also being heard. Working alongside a United Hatzalah ambulance team, they administered initial treatment to the injured before transferring them to nearby hospitals. Given the traumatic nature of the attack, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit also provided support to individuals suffering from emotional shock.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) expressed its concern over the incident, emphasizing that while they are actively working to maintain stability in the Jenin Camp by targeting terrorist infrastructure, innocent civilians are being targeted by acts of terrorism within the country. The IDF condemned the attack and highlighted the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.

Amidst this tragic event, it is disheartening to note that celebrations were taking place in Gaza, even as emergency medical services attended to the victims of the attack in Tel Aviv. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced in maintaining peace and security in the region.

As the injured individuals receive necessary medical care and support, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the attack. Measures will undoubtedly be taken to ensure the safety of the public and prevent further acts of terrorism.
