Combined combat forces of armor, combat engineers and infantry have been operating on the ground in northern Gaza since early Friday evening. Over 150 underground targets were hit Friday night, including tunnels and bunkers.
The IDF also eliminated several senior Hamas commanders who played key roles in the planning of the October 7th massacre, including the head of the Hamas aerial array Atsem Abu Rakaba.
As part of the operation IDF soldiers: Identified terrorist cells attempting to launch anti-tank missiles and mortar shells and struck them. They Identified and destroyed a booby-trapped structure.
IDF tanks also directed IAF helicopters, who struck the building of a Hamas operational meeting point.
IDF spokesperson released certain information about their overall goals and accomplishments thus far in the incursion. A joint mission involving multiple Israeli units working in tandem are actively dismantling.
Accomplishing the eradication of many Hamas anti- tank crews, destroying booby trapped areas, and destroying Hamas operational meeting centers.
PM Netanyahu: “Yesterday, ground forces entered the gates of Gaza, the entrance to the fortress of evil,” Netanyahu said. “This is the second stage of the operation. We made the decision to expand ground operations here. We’ve entered the second stage of the war, with the goal of destroying the military and political capabilities of Hamas.
The IDF also informed the world that the Hamas HQ is situated entirely under the hospital in the Strip, just another way they are utilizing human shields to attemt to make Israel look bad.
