Firefighters from the Lawrence Cedarhurst Fire Dept. have deployed in a second wave of deployments to Israel, joining other firefighters from the United States to provide crucial relief in the aftermath of the October 7th atrocities.

The LCFD released the following statement: “Their dedication knows no bounds as they face challenging situations head-on. We stand in awe of their selflessness and bravery. We wish them Godspeed in their mission and await their safe return.”

This is a part of EVP, Emergency Volunteer Project, a disaster relief & rescue organization whose primary mission is to deploy volunteer teams to Israel in times of crisis. EVP has successfully conducted operational deployments for all large-scale emergencies in Israel over the past 15 years, including natural disaster and conflict scenarios and large-scale government exercises, and deployed over 95 volunteering missions to Israel.

We thank all the volunteers from the depth of our hearts, wishing you Blessings and safety!

Tzeischem Lishalom!
