HY”D: Death Toll in Ground Offensive Passes 90 R”L

The IDF announced the deaths of ten more soldiers R”L over the last several days killed fighting in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll of the ground offensive to 93 R”L.

Staff Sgt. Amit Bonzel HY”D, 22, of the Paratroopers Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, from Shoham.

Staff Sgt.Alemnew Emanuel Feleke HY”D, 22, of the Commando Brigade’s Duvdevan unit, from Kiryat Gat. Feleke was wounded Dec. 5 and succumbed to his wounds yesterday.

Sgt. First Class (res.) Maor Gershoni HY”D, 24, of the 6th Brigade’s 8173rd Battalion, from Yokne’am Illit.

Master Sgt. (res.) Gal Meir Eisenkot HY”D, 25, of the 551st Brigade’s 699th Battalion, from Herzliya. He is the son of former chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot.

Sgt. Maj. (res.) Jonathan David Deitch HY”D, 34, of the 55th Brigade’s 6623rd Reconnaissance Battalion, from Harish.

Son of Former IDF Chief Killed in Gaza: Master Sgt. (res.) Gal Meir Eisenkot HY”D was killed today during fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Sgt. Maj. (res.) Kobi Dvash HY”D, 41, of the Combat Engineering Corps’ 271st Battalion, from Tiberias. Dvash was killed in southern Gaza.

Master Sgt. (res.) Eyal Meir Berkowitz HY”D, 28, of the 551st Brigade’s 699th Battalion, from Jerusalem. Berkowitz was killed in northern Gaza.

Master Sgt. (res.) Naftali Yonah Gordon HY”D, 32, of the 188th Armored Brigade’s 53rd Battalion, from Jerusalem.

Sgt. First Class (res.) Omri Rot HY”D, 25, a tank commander in the 188th Armored Brigade’s 53rd Battalion, from Katzrin
