“We cannot sit by while women in our community struggle to raise their families on their own.”
This Monday and Tuesday, MSHS TAG High School students are lighting up the lives of single mothers, one call at a time. Their efforts remind us all that, regardless of age, we can each contribute to creating a supportive and caring community.
The school, where Mishpachtainu founder Yehudis Sherman has dedicated 30 years of service, has launched a special call center initiative to raise funds for Mishpachtainu.
This past week, Mishpachtainu, an organization providing vital programs, funds, and Shabbos hospitality to hundreds of single mothers across the spectrum of yiddishkeit, launched their MIGHTY MOMS campaign, raising much needed funding for single mothers.

Fifty-two Shabbosim, all year round, Mishpachtainu opens its doors to provide warm and inviting Shabbos meals, featuring delicious home-cooked food, inspirational speakers, and heart-stirring zemiros. Here, single moms find essential sisterhood, offering chizuk to one another while their children spend weekends with their fathers.
Beyond Shabbos, Mishpachtainu offers vital support, food pantries, emergency funding, workshops, and holiday gifts and toys to help our Mighty Moms continue to provide for their families and raise happy, healthy kids.
Yehudis expressed her deep, heartfelt gratitude to the students at TAG for all their support and enthusiasm. It is through partnerships like these that our community can become more united.
