The IDF announced that another soldier lost his life R”L while battling Hamas in Gaza.
He is identified as Maj. David Shakuri HY’D, 30, deputy commander of the Combat Engineering Corps’ 601st Battalion, from Rechovot.
His death increases the number of IDF korbonos since the ground offensive in Gaza to 226 neshamos, and the number of IDF casualties since October 7th to 563.
