The Fourth Squad reports the details of an Attempted Robbery that occurred on Monday, March 11th, at 7:05 pm in Cedarhurst.
According to Detectives, a male victim, 68, parked his vehicle and was walking southbound on Bayview Avenue when he was approached by three unknown subjects. The subjects demanded the victim’s car keys and threatened to harm him if he did not comply. When the victim refused, a female subject struck the victim in the back multiple times. The victim began yelling for help and the three subjects fled the scene eastbound on Monroe Street. The victim refused medical attention and no proceeds were reported.
The first subject is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5’6” tall, wearing a black jacket, grey pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, face mask and carrying a backpack.
The second subject is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5’6” tall wearing a grey jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, white pants, white sneakers, a face mask, and was also carrying a backpack.
The third subject is described as a black female, approximately 20 years old, 5’2” tall, with a stocky build, long black hair, and wearing red pants with a black jacket.
