Alon Mesika’s 23-year-old son, Adir HY”D, was tragically killed at the Nova festival along with many of his close friends.
Adir was in the process of launching his own jewelry business, inspired by his father’s profession as a jeweler.
He courageously fought to protect his girlfriend, Yuli, during the tragic event, ultimately sacrificing his own life.
Determined to find purpose amid grief, Alon decided to keep himself occupied after the Shiva and Shloshim.
Upon learning that a soldier wanted to propose but lacked a ring, Alon provided him with a diamond ring from the Diamond Exchange. Little did he know that this act of kindness would evolve into a heartfelt mission. To honor Adir’s memory, the Mesika family has embraced his jewelry business, Flo Jewelz, bringing his creative vision to fruition.
The family has thus far donated over 80 rings to soldiers getting married with no plan to stop donating in Adir’s memory anytime soon.
