Many of the local Yeshivas sent the following letter to talmidim and local families about today’s Atzeres Tefilah & Chizuk:
Dear Parents and Bochurim,
As you all certainly know, the situation for אחינו בני ישראל in ארץ ישראל is very precarious and dangerous at the moment. The past few days have brought unprecedented attacks on כלל ישראל from those who seek our destruction.
The protection of every single yid is dependent on the תורה and תפילה
of each and every one of the לומדי תורה. With the onset of בין הזמנים, we feel it is especially important to be מחזק in our עבודה and to be moser nefesh as much as possible in order to be זוכה to the דברי חז״ל that מגנא ומצלא תורה.
With this in mind, we are asking all מתיבתא and בית מדרש aged בחורים to join an עצרת חיזוק ותפילה today Tuesday April 16th, at 12:45 PM in Agudas Yisroel of Long Island, where we will be hearing דברי פתיחה from הרה”ג RavMeir Braunstein שליט״א as well as דברי חיזוק from הרה”ג Rav Nissin Kaplan שליט״א.
May the זכות of our לימוד תורה ותפילה bring the ישועות we so desperately need.
