If COVID has taught us anything, it’s that our local first responders are crucial to our well-being—and need to be given the requisite wherewithal to keep us safe. That’s why I am asking for your vote to be re-elected Woodmere Fire Commissioner and why I have volunteered as a firefighter for the past nine years—protecting your family and mine.
As a Fire Commissioner for the past five years, I have secured critical resources for our firefighters and EMTs, while keeping your taxes low. From procuring vital grant funding with Senator Kaminsky for a new ambulance, to successfully leading the fight to protect benefits for volunteer firefighters during the pandemic, while working behind the scenes to keep our community safe during these most difficult times.
As we continue to navigate the COVID crisis, I remain dedicated to ensuring our firefighters and medics have the tools they need to protect us. From water rescue grant funding to smart, savvy fiscal discipline, I am committed to looking out for our community and its needs—just as I do day in and day out as a volunteer firefighter, responding to fires, gas leaks, car accidents and other emergencies at all hours, day and night alike.
On December 8th, between 6 and 9 pm, please bring your family to the Woodmere Fire Department, located at 20 Irving Place, and cast your ballot for me, Yisroel Max.
