Florida Temps Headed to Record Lows Over Yeshiva Week

0

Yeshiva Week migrants headed to Florida, may not experience what they had wished for. Many locals often leave frigid Long Island temps this time of year in order to bask in the warm temps of Sunny Florida.

Although temperatures currently are in the 70’s in most areas in Florida, those temps are due to decrease dramatically over the weekend.

Record low temperatures are expected as two cold fronts move south over the weekend as the Northeast faces a powerful nor’easter.

The strongest cold front is forecast to move down the state Friday night, moving off Florida’s southeast coast early Shabbos morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Following the front, much colder air driven by gusty northwest winds will push into South Florida and usher in the coldest temperatures of the season.

Temperatures could drop into the 20s by Motsai Shabbos in North Florida. Southwest Florida could see temperatures around 32 degrees, according to the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network.

Stay warm.
