The U-Haul van believed to be tied to this morning’s subway shooter has been found in Brooklyn, police sources said. The white truck, which has Arizona plates, was found in Gravesend on West Third Street near Kings Highway, sources said.
Earlier today, the NYPD sent out an e-mail to the entire force telling cops to be on the lookout for a U-Haul after investigators discovered a credit card at the scene that they believe belongs to the gunman, law-enforcement sources said. One of the charges racked up on the card is for a rental out of Philadelphia, the sources said.
NYPD detectives also found a credit card at the subway shooting scene that they believe belongs to the gunman — and are now using it to try to track him, law-enforcement sources said.
The manhunt continues.
