The family was reportedly in the Catskills at the time of the incident, Chasdei Hashem. All hands on deck as fire fighters continue to take out the blaze.

5:42 PM – At this time, the house fire is still active and has been transmitted as a 3rd alarm fire. The corrected address of the fire is at Mosher Ave and North Central. West Broadway and Franklin are closed off there as a result. Woodmere Blvd is also closed off at this time.
No death and no serious injuries have been reported at this time, we are hopeful that information remains.

5:30 PM – A residential home was reportedly struck by lightning which caused a fire to the home. The fire is at West Broadway and North Central. Many fire trucks and police on scene.
